About: The Writer & The blog
Hi, I’m Kimberley, I’m the tea nerd/enthusiast behind Kimberley’s Kyusu. This blog is dedicated to everything tea and my main aim with it is to try and cover every single aspect of the tea world. While I love lots of different teas from all over the world, personally I adore Japanese tea and Japanese tea culture as I’m sure you can probably tell given the name of my blog. So that tends to be what I write the most about however I do also love many other teas and I’m a huge gongfucha enthusiast so there will be other areas of the tea world covered as well.
Kimberley’s Kyusu started in 2015. I started this blog because I wanted a creative outlet that I could use to channel my love for tea and help me learn more about it. I also knew I wasn’t alone in my love of tea and I thought that starting a blog all about it would be a great way to get to connect with fellow tea lovers, and to further develop my knowledge of everything the tea world has to offer It’s safe to say that it helped me to do everything I set out to do when I first started.
I’ve been doing this for a while now but I don’t think I’d ever get tired of being able to write so much about one of my biggest passions. My blog has enabled me not only to get to know fellow tea lovers & bloggers, but it’s also helped to work with some of my all time favourite tea companies and I’ll never be able to put into words how thankful I am for all of it. Even after all so many years since I started my blog I am still learning and I love that tea really is ever learning and I’m constantly able to build my knowledge.. Which in turn enables me to wrote much more in depth and informative posts to help others learn about tea.
I suffer with Chronic Migraine so sadly I’m not always able to devote as much time to writing and my other passions such as photography. But I do try and post here as often as I can. There are just sometimes longer breaks between content than I would like. But I’m just happy I’m able to post at all.
